Costa Anastasiadis, a seasoned veteran & founder of the Crust Pizza chain found himself in the US travelling between hospitality conventions all over the place. Costa was no stranger to the quick service restaurants space having established and successfully sold a very competitive pizza chain to the Retail Food Group.
In an increasingly competitive market, Costa knew the importance of a truly differentiated product offering, and that’s when he realised the answer lay within his cultural roots. Something that mirrors the uniquely distinct social identity of the Greek-Australian. This would be achieved through the most sacred of entities held in esteem by the Hellenic tradition: Food.
Zeus Street Greek was born! A marriage between the exotic flair of modern Hellenic street cuisine and the dynamic vibrancy of fresh Australian produce. It’s a celebration of two magnificent world cultures to reinvigorate the antiquated image of Mediterranean food in Australia. The journey for Zeus began in 2014 with a vision to bring this updated take on the Hellenic dining experience to the table in a crisp, contemporary and laid-back atmosphere. Simply, to deliver the best casual dining experience.
Costa has since assimilated a team behind him to bring his dream to fruition and Zeus has established a strong footprint with 20 locations across Australia.
