I am excited to introduce the Beds R Us exclusive membership opportunity.

The group has experienced amazing growth in the past 4 years. To augment the expanding size of the network, improved operations and marketing standards have been introduced. Beds R Us is now looking for more members to join the network across Australia. Natural leaders who can take charge and add their own personal flare to the business.

What do the coming months and years hold?

We are launching several initiatives to support growth, including;

  • Innovating the retail experience such as the introduction of smaller retail formats to offer inner-city presence.
  • Improved supply and product quality – Increasing production and manufacturing capabilities with Australia’s largest mattress manufacturer, Sleepyhead.
  • Digital marketing investments – increased online exposure with a reinvigorated content strategy and message.

With 83 sites in Australia and 47 in New Zealand, we are among the largest independent bedding furniture retailers in Australasia. Our team has over 25 years of industry experience.  And our support network provides friendly, professional and expert service.

Beds R Us members receive extensive product training and support for the Sleepyhead product range through our supplier network.  Our support office advises on marketing and  merchandising for your local area. Members benefit from the collective experience of the network. We save you time and money.

We are committed to the success of our members. We invest product rebates and brand fees into national and local area marketing activities.  Annually, there are over 12 national marketing campaigns. We reach consumers through digital, free-to-air television, syndicated radio and printed newspaper channels.

As a members network, everyone has a say.

Our committee develops local activities to support national campaigns. You have an opportunity to champion initiatives in your territory and drive performance.

Content for local activations is available on the members’ portal and is updated monthly. Looking to run a pop-up event in your local area? No worries, Sleepyhead will support your event with products. To ensure your store is found online we provide members with a dedicated landing page on the Beds R Us website.

With over 27,000 visitors a month, we continually invest and improve our online footprint. In the coming months, we will launch “Sleep Selector” on our website. It is a tool that recommends the best sleep solution for customers.

Retail is evolving, and we are innovating to meet customer needs and expectations. Our team will work with you to find a location, negotiate the lease and design the store. We advise you on your initial opening order and staff training.  Our goal is to help you make the most of your location. We offer three different formats for inner city, shopping centres and home maker like locations –  

LARGE FORMAT

  • over 600 sqm
  • a large range and combination of furniture, beds and mattresses

TRADITIONAL

  • up to 350 sqm
  • an extensive range of beds and mattresses

POP-UP

  • up to 120 sqm
  • a select variety of beds and mattresses

We believe that training and support are critical to the success of each member.

We want to you experience our brand and in-turn share that with your customers. When you become a member of the Beds R Us network, we run you through a 2-week induction program. This program gives you the tools to independently operate your store. We cover topics like HR, financial management, operations and customer service. We include a tour of the Sleepyhead factory in Queensland where you get to learn all about the manufacturing process.

Ongoing training modules are developed to provide you with practical advice on:

  • Product Knowledge
  • Merchandising and Store Experience
  • Marketing and Sales

The online members’ portal, home to operation manuals and toolkits, gives you a constant reference on Beds R Us best practices. Our annual conference complements the day-to-day support from head office. The annual conference provides members with an opportunity to share experiences with peers. We talk about industry news, trends and what it all means to our business.
